It Is My Name!

        Stephanie is my name. It was given to me the day I was born. It represents me, who I am, and what I stand for. That name gives me power in all that I do and say. It means to me that I am my own person. I know that n matter what anyone does they cant take it away from me and my memory. When I really think about the name Stephanie, I really wouldn't be any where in life with out it.
         When my name is seen by others, I think (hope) that they see it and say "Hey I know her! Stephanie is a funny, fun loving girl!" That when people see or talk about me they think of what I believe in, what I will and wont do, and all my values I have and keep. I hope when they talk about me it is only good. They will know that I wont do any thing that will hurt me, my family, bring me into harmful situations, or bring me down in any way.
           Stephanie. I read that name and I think of all the things that come with it. I think about the things that make me happy and mad. Some things that make me happy are my family, friends, swim team, and all my talents. Then some of the things that really set my fuse are when people are mean to me, say bad stuff or sick stuff, when kids don't respect their parents, and the list could go on but we wont talk about that.
            The last few things that come up when we are talking about the name Stephanie are how my friends and family see me. I think that my friends and family see me as someone that will do anything for them, fight for what I think is right, a person that just loves life, loves to laugh and have fun. I really like to know that is what they think of me.
            Stephanie. That is my name and it always will be. I will fight for it if someone tries to take it away.

The Crucible Cast list

This is my cast list for the Crucible. Let us begin.

John Proctor: Christian Bale

I chose Christian Bale for the role of John Proctor because he is an attractive farmer and he also has to be buff for being a farmer. I feel that Christian Bale fits all of these characteristics very well. One Christian Bale is a VERY attractive man. He can also work with his role to fit it very well. Christian Bale is very good at being a diverse actor he could be fighting crime to being on Little Women. I think that he would develop into a very good John Proctor.



Reverend Samuel Parris: Richard M. Langworth

I chose Mr. Langworth as Rev. Parris because he is described as a man that is really only focused on his job, what people think of him, and is constantly afraid that someone is after their job. He would be perfect for this role because in previous Harry Potters he has played just that role, the Minister of Magic. A man that is just pretty much focused on one person and that is himself. he has had experience as this kind of character so that is why he would be perfect for the role of Rev. Parris.

Abigail "Abby" Williams: Qweneth Paltrow

I chose Qwyneth Paltrow as the role of Abby because Abby is said to be a pretty girl and is also known to  hide secrets. I feel that Qwyneth Paltrow fit both of these characteristics very well. One she is very pretty. But she also gives a feeling of she could be hiding a secret behind that smile of hers.






Tituba: Naomie Harris

This is the perfect Tituba in my eyes. Naomie just says witch form Barbados. Tituba is a slave that dose magic, spells, and witch craft. In Pirates 3 she plays the role of the witch kind of woman that does spells and is kind of a mystery.  I think that is exactly what Tituba is she does spells and is a bit of a mystery.





Goody Rebecca Nurse: Julie Andrews

I chose Julie Andrews as Goody Nurse because Goody Nurse is a kind older woman that has many children and grandchildren. So  she knows how to deal with kids in their ups and downs of growing up. I think that Julie Andrews would be perfect for this role because she just look like she is a good mother and a good grandmother. Julie also give the feel if a child is acting up she knows how to deal with it in a loving and kind way.




Goody Elizabeth Proctor: Maggie Gyllenhaal

I chose Maggie as the role of Goody Proctor because Goody Proctor is said to be a sniveling, lying, hateful woman. I feel that Maggie Gyllenhaal fits all of these very well. Maggie just looks like she could be that woman whose husband has cheated on. Sorry but it is true.






Rev. John Hale: Johnny Depp

I chose Johnny Depp as the role of Rev. John Hale because Rev. Hale is a man that knows everything on witches, spells, and the devil. Johnny Depp is just such a divers actor he would be perfect in any role. He just seems to be the kind of person that would really get into this role and find out all he could about all the thing Rev. Hale knows.



Mary Warren: Dakota Fanning

I picked Dakota Fanning as the role of Mary Warren because Dakota can play the role of that girl that was in the wood last night doing spells. Dakota also is the kind of actress that is good at playing the role of someone who has a secret; just like Mary Warren. She also is the type that will play the role of someone following orders from the older girls.






Goody Ann Putnam: Meryl Steep

I chose Meryl Steep a the role of Goody Ann Putnam because Goody Putnam comes across as a woman that has had to go through a lot in her life and has had a lot of problems with the neighbors. I think that Meryl could easily play that role because she has that right edge about her that could pull her right into that character that has had so much pain in her life. Her face just looks aged by hard times and that she is holding back the tears and a little bit of insanity.

Thomas Putnam: Collin Firth

The last person I picked for my cast is Collin Firth as the role of Thomas Putnam. Thomas Putnam is the man that will cut some corner to get what he wants. He is also known to lie about what is really his. I think that Collin really just looks like that sneaky man that is after your land for his own benefit. He also looks like someone that might just go behind your back to get what he wants.

Be responsible for our choices

          Do not even think about making that choice if you don't want to be responsible for the out come of it. So many people just go around making choices with out even thinking to themselves " hum what will i have to deal with in my life if I make this choice." it can go ether ways on the scale of good and bad. you can make a very good decision and get a great out come from it and have an awesome responsibility. It can also go the exact opposite way. A person should always be responsible for the choices they make because people make curtain choices for a reason, also someone doesn't have other people making their decision for them, and when a person choices something good or bad more than likely they will know the out come of it.
        People will more than likely make that choice for some kind of a reason. Take for example it you take or took drugs you probably did them for a reason that being you wanted to know what they were like. That is a really lame reason to take drugs or to even take them at all. Another example of people making decision for a reason is that they make it because they want to best possible out come. I mean you wouldn't do some thing if you didn't want a good out come from it or good responsibility.
       No one can make you make any decision. you are fee to pick what ever you want for yourself in life. no one is there to stop you. Yeah your friends can persuade you to pick some thing else by saying like " aw man pick that it will be way fun" or " do it because every one else is going to be doing it." It all comes down to you and the one decision with the responsibility that you want in the end. It is your life and you need to know how to make that decision that is your own. That goes along with you are always free to do what you want. We have the freedom to lie, cheat, steal so on and so forth but we need to learn how to step back and say to our selves " do i want the responsibility that will follow this choice?"
       When someone makes a choice being good or bad they will more than likely know the responsibility that will come around sooner or later. An example of this would be some one who shop lifted they know dang well that when and if they get caught they will be in big trouble with the law. but when they get caught that person just need to face life and be responsible for what they did. The same goes on with a person that is taking drugs. they know exactly the minute they take that stuff the result will be addiction. those people need to become responsible and try to get off that stuff for good. 
         So I guess in the end of all this what I am trying to get across is that we all just need to be as responsible as we can with the choices we make. we will make them for a reason some time in our lives. also no one can take on that responsibility for us we need to do that. The last thing is that when we make decision it is more than likely that we know the out come of the choices we make and we need to be responsible for them.
